This Qipao dress is cut from blue silk and covered with hand embroidery. The motifs — mountain, lotus pond, trees, and birds — are drawn from classical Chinese paintings. It is an heirloom Chinese dress, also known as a Cheongsam, made to order for clients who want craftsmanship and cultural meaning in a modern setting.
