Every piece takes time, care, and many hands.

Clients should know exactly what goes into a handcrafted Qipao, Tang Suit, or Chinese Wedding Dress.

Below, we explain what shapes the price, how long each step takes, and what you can expect when you work with us.

What shapes the price

Several things affect the final cost:

  • Design – how fitted or structured the style is.
  • Embroidery – light, medium, or full coverage, and which technique we use.
  • Fabric – type of silk, brocade, or lining chosen.
  • Personal touches – symbols, initials, or family motifs.
  • Timeline – standard or rush.

We give a full quote after your design consultation.

There are no hidden fees or surprise charges.

Typical timeline

Every piece takes a different amount of time depending on the design and embroidery.

A simple Qipao without embroidery usually takes about 1.5 months to complete.

When embroidery is added, the process extends to three months or more, depending on how detailed the work is.

A Tang Suit generally requires 6 to 12 weeks, and longer if embroidery or custom lining is involved.

A Chinese Wedding Dress, such as a Qun Kwa or Xiu He Fu, takes the longest to make.

These gowns involve heavy embroidery and hand-finishing. Most are completed within 6 to 14 months, while a fully embroidered King Kwa can take up to 14 months from start to finish.

Rush service may be possible for specific designs, but we will only accept a rush order if our team can complete the order to our full standard of craftsmanship.
