Origin
JINZA began in 2002 in San Francisco as a high-end studio for custom Western wedding gowns.
In time, our clients began asking for Qipao and traditional Chinese wedding dresses to wear alongside their white gowns.
What started as bespoke bridal design gradually grew into a full couture house dedicated to Eastern craftsmanship.
Today, from our Los Angeles studio, we create Chinese wedding dresses, Qipao, and Tang suits that unite the precision of Western couture with the spirit of Chinese heritage.

Philosophy
At JINZA, design begins with understanding the person who will wear it.
We believe clothing can hold memory. A Qipao or Tang suit is more than attire. It tells who you are, where you come from, and what you value.
Each piece is created with respect for the past and purpose for the future.
Many of our designs are inspired by family, from a grandmother’s lotus pond to a mother’s favorite flower.
We hope each dress or Tang suit becomes part of your own story, passed down with pride and love.
Our work follows the principles of couture with respect for time, precision, and purpose.
Meet the Makers

Grace - Designer
Grace leads the design and creative direction, drawing from her training in hand embroidery and 14 years of bridal couture experience.

The name JINZA
JINZA is more than a name; it is a tribute.
It honors Jinza Jin, the founder of Jinza Bridal in San Francisco, who began her design career at nineteen.
She created Grace’s wedding dress in 2010 and taught her to sew from the beginning.
Through her guidance, Grace found the courage to leave her corporate path and open her own atelier in Los Angeles in 2012.
The word JIN (金), meaning gold, remains as a reminder of her mentorship and the values she passed down: patience, kindness, and the belief that craft is a way to honor others.

Our Team
Each piece is created with care by our small team of artisans, who work quietly and patiently by hand.
