This sketch shows a modern Chinese wedding dress with a halter neckline and fitted-flare silhouette. Designed in silk with a front slit, the gown features embroidered phoenix and peonies that wrap from front to back — symbols of strength, prosperity, and feminine grace. As a bespoke Qipao dress (internationally known as a Cheongsam), it blends traditional motifs with a contemporary cut, making it ideal as both a tea ceremony dress and a reception gown.
